Why the U.N. Lost credibility in Haiti
"We now live in a world where powerful countries - all of them so-called democracies - manipulate multilateral bodies to the great disadvantage and suffering of the poorer developing nations". Rolihlahla (Nelson) Mandela
" I question why we always go walking down the wrong path with Haiti. Let’s stop playing with Haiti". Ricardo Seitenfus

Here are a few specific reasons why the U.N. has lost all credibility in Haiti:
MASS MURDERS
Since the arrival of the U.N. troops in Haiti, there have been numerous massacres attributed to them. Some high ranked military leaders of these troops have even complained publicly of being tasked to conduct crimes against humanity which they fear could lend them at the International Criminal Court. In January 2006, U.N. General Bacellar was found on the balcony of a Petion-Ville Hotel, with a bullet in his head. The true cause of his death is still unclear, although the U.N. has officially declared the death of the veteran General, found with a book in his hand, a suicide.
