L'Ex Président Jean Claude Duvalier blanchi par la justice a désormais un passeport diplomatique
L’ex-président à vie Jean Claude Duvalier revenu au pays en janvier 2011 après 25 ans d’exil en France est désormais détenteur d’un passeport diplomatique et peut se déplacer librement après avoir été « blanchi » par la justice des accusations de crimes contre l’humanité, a appris Haiti Press Network.
Jean Claude Duvalier qui a été dernièrement convoqué à la cour d’appel devait se rendre en République dominicaine pour passer les fêtes de fin d’année.
« Je sais qu’un passeport diplomatique lui a été délivré », a déclaré à HPN, le juge d’instruction Jean Carves qui était chargé du dossier de Duvalier rappelant que les restrictions sur les déplacements de Baby Doc ont été levées.
« Oui il a un passeport diplomatique », a confirmé Me Reynold George avocat de M. Duvalier. L’avocat a rappelé que son client est dans l’attente d’une décision de la cour d’appel sur les accusations de crimes financières.
« Je peux vous assurer que le président Duvalier sera blanchi de toutes les fausses accusations portées contre lui », a conclu Me George. HPN
