MIAMI.- Former U.S. president Bill Clinton on Tuesday said it’s the first time in many decades in which Haiti is poised to begin exiting its vicious cycle of poverty, but despite citing the aid by Cuba and Venezuela, didn’t mention Dominican Republic’s constant call for help and economic contributions for its impoverished neighbor on Hispaniola Island.
Speaking in Miami the United Nations special envoy to Haiti said the Caribbean nation’s political leadership is ready to transform it into a modern State and surmount its misery, with the aid of international community, nongovernment organizations and the Haitian diaspora, of which estimates as high as two million live in the Dominican Republic, its also poor neighbor to the east .
Clinton, in the “progress report" presented in the Conference of the Americas, hosted by newspaper The Miami Herald, the World Bank and Florida International University (FIU), cited initiatives to motor the Caribbean country’s development, stated his support for granting a Temporal Protection Status (TPS) for Haitians who live in his country. “I’m promoting a TPS with much force and I know that the Secretary of State (his wife Hillary Clinton) is on that."
“We have an outstanding opportunity" to help the Caribbean nation, noting the devastating damages caused by four hurricanes in the last few years, when the Dominican Government sent the first shipments of medicine and medical professionals to Haiti.
Clinton said his country’s donors have an “enormous" commitment to help; thousands of NGOs has register to participate and the neighbors Haiti have occurred to account his " responsibility and opportunities” to aid the Haitians, 70 percent of whom he said live with less than two dollars per day.
"There’s never been a time in which Latin America has supported Haiti like now,” citing "an apparent agreement between Venezuela and Cuba, beyond what is politics," noting president Hugo Chavez’s donation of 87 million dollars for prevention during the hurricane season.

Je trouve tout a fait étrange qu'une super puissance qui décide de partir en guerre toute seule ,sans l’aide de ses allies , contre les « forces du mal » doit s'appuyer maintenant sur l'aide économique de pays pauvres du tiers-monde pour aider ...Haïti .Point n'est besoin d'etre savant pour comprendre ce qui se passe a l'intérieur des conclaves de l'international et le sérieux des changements proposés par les faiseurs et destructeurs de nation. Les prêtres de tous les cultes de la fraternité hypocrite veulent nous aider et nos misères s'accroissent a vue d'œil. La volonté malicieuse de l'International s'était révélée avec l'imposition de Gerad La tortue , son appui a la médiocrité de son administration et son faire semblant de colonisateur qui ne comprend pas la corruption généralisée qui sévissait au cœur du secteur public .En outre , malgré ses discours pompeux de fidélité , le gros lard n'avait jamais reçu l'aide promise .Et cela n'a pas servi d'exemple a la foule des intelektyouls et des mégalomanes qui trainent dans les couloirs des ambassades et ceux des agences de renseignements qui siègent a l'intérieur même de ces organisations adultères de la communauté internationale . Quand le président négociateur Clinton affirme du sommet nuageux de sa tour d’Ivoire qu'Haïti a plus que jamais l'opportunité de sortir de son cycle de pauvreté, je me demande étonné quel a été le rôle et le but de son administration pendant huit ans à la Maison Blanche à démontrer son appui inconditionnel au gouvernement antinational d'Aristide ? Les faibles moyens financiers et la philosophie de l’impuissance tiers-mondiste vont –ils réussir la ou les Anglo-Saxons et ses puissants allies d’Europe ont échoué par deux fois malgré leur puissance militaire et économique ? Nous jouons à un étrange jeu de roulette russe et on veut nous cacher que le barillet du revolver ne contient pas de trous vides. Voici la question : Quelle est la différence entre hier et aujourd'hui ? En quoi consiste ce changement qui encourage l’annonce de nouvelles prophéties qui nous retirent notre destin des mains de notre volonté ? Je n’ai jamais connu une nation qui ait connu le succès à long terme sous la permanence des diktats d’une domination étrangère, directe ou indirecte. Se peut-il que les requins de la fraternité de l'O.N.U et ses majordomes incompétents aient trouvé pour Haïti la panacée dont a besoin la majorité des pays qui la composent ? Nous avons tant fait pour nous signaler à la charité de nos tuteurs qu'ils nous prennent vraiment pour des demeurés. Je refuse cette compassion du mépris ancrée dans la duperie et le mensonge. Je ne suis pas de ceux qui avouent avec une hypocrisie insolente et un cynisme pervers : "Mwin fe yon ti dezod" après avoir vendu le pays. Les vrais Haïtiens doivent se mettre debout, se souvenir de la vraie route de leur destinée, afin de nettoyer les écuries d’Augias qui se multiplient sous la garde des contingents militaires étrangers. L’haïtien légitime devrait savoir que sa liberte et son honneur citoyen ne peuvent jamais venir de l’Extérieur. Si nos gouvernements passés et présents avaient fait de Vertieres un lieu de pèlerinage de notre sacré historique, une source mythique de renouvellement ou viendraient s'abreuver le courage et la volonté de la nation aux prises avec le doute et l'incertitude de son destin, le pays ne serait pas a la dérive entre les mains des mercenaires étrangers. Les héros de 1803 ont déchiré les cieux de l'Amérique avec ce cri puissant de la victoire qui donna naissance à une nation libre ...rien que pour passer le flambeau a des héritiers incapables de formuler une vision cohérente de l'avenir national. Ce Ponce Pilate est le nouveau Leclerc dont la mission secrète est de réaliser cette victoire psychologique dont rêvent encore l'Amérique et l'Europe : Nous mettre à genoux et nous entendre crier en chœur, mon oncle ! Ils veulent à tout prix nous retirer cet orgueil historique que nous montrons même dans la plus profonde des misères de la déchéance humaine. Needless to say that this injection of a siren song of the American propaganda machine into the repertoire of the untrained choir of our latent hopes is going to be a major failure as long as it is under the influence of the United Nations , Foggy Bottom (American State Department ) in cahoots with the local congos , the inland pirates and rogue of Haitian society that are best described as patented scoundrels and trained assassins of the notion of nation .Haiti will never exit – on her own or with help- the awful conditions of her situation as long as a contemptuous State Department allied to the warlords of world finance and domination assume rather wrongly that Haitians are citizens of an imaginary Africa of the politically correct because of the color of their skin .[/size]
Should President Clinton ,the attuned political animal , and allies decide this time to err on the side of caution , historical reality and honesty, this new “help” for desperate Haiti with her back nailed to the wall of anarchy and greed might be a truly genuine effort to stabilize a teetering country in the Caribbean plunging more and more into the inhuman abysses of chaos. The redemption of Haiti must start by the vital recognition by our friends of special circumstances and accomplices in poor achievement that previous policy and guidance failed because they did not understand the complexities of Haitian society .[/size]
They were hypnotized through the perversity of ethnocentric leadership bathed in fraternal hypocrisy among nations .They must now realize in the name of sanity and reason that they could’t apprehend the true nature of the cultural war that is being waged by members of a primitive society operating still at the subterranean levels of consciousness .Haiti is now wrapped around the slippery pole of a fragile and deceitful concept of identity and affirmation of self that finds too much comfort in the hollowness and grandiloquence of words .[/size]
There is a challenge that every true friend of Haiti must face: The true meaning of the noisy public verbosity among our peers is simply the weak manifestation of the pioneering discourse of left-over, rancid leftist ideas discovered by copycats .They are the upstart members of the parasitic intellectual stew that is usually found in the midst of the lower and middle class in search of public recognition .[/size]
The sounds and words that fake societal acceptance and belonging are nothing more but the bland rhetoric characteristic of poor notion of nationalism anchored in the musty crypts of old ideas that shelter delusion of grandeur. The actions of these many groups nowhere reflect the genuine state of Haitians that we need ,the care and love of country, for we all can see that the deportment of our charlatans as leaders lacks the purifying notion of patriotism and collective sense of responsibility ... Choosing capable Haitians to help the country of Haiti during this early effort of the Obama Administration might turn out to be a success if true Haitians born of the historical hopes and dreams of a unified country are put in charge of the process of rebuilding a nation toward relative prosperity . The third world mentality of the United Nations cannot help but dig a bigger hole for Haitian’s exit of her current hell .Avoiding the easy trap of adopting the Haitian problem as a competition between the “elites “ and the “masses” would go a long way toward preparing and soothing the difficult roads filled with the obstacles that work to prevent social and economic stability . There is no competition in a one-way relationship …Moreover; it would be wisdom for President Clinton to remember what a seasoned American diplomat , a member of his tribe, concluded on his visit in Haiti during the early years of the past century:[/size]

Humanitarian aid without a long term enlightened vision is but a subtle form of encouraged dependence or the traps of emotional slavery that lead to total absconding of individual and collective responsibility .
