EcoBlu Products, Inc., /quotes/comstock/11k!ecob (ECOB 0.33, -0.03, -8.33%) announced today that it has successfully assembled its Haiti relief structure in under 1 hour to demonstrate the ease of construction for pre-fabricated permanent housing units designed for disaster areas. The shelter constructed was 12'x30' and also comes in two additional sizes, 16'x30' and 8'x12'.


EcoBlu Products are building emergency and permanent shelters made of wood that is designed to withstand 120 MPH wind loads and heavy seismic events.

The shelters are pre-fabricated and labeled for easy assembly including all hardware necessary for completion. The structures are also coated with EcoBlu's BLUWOOD(TM) and FRC(TM) (Fire Retardant Coating) technology that protects the wood from mold, rot, decay, termites and fire.

The shelter is designed for quick assembly, but is engineered to be a permanent structure.
