Le plaidoyer le plus boiteux du monde en faveur de Lady Gaga
Richard
Most haitians are blind or hypocritical when they talk about immorality in respect to Michel Martelly. I for one would not support or back Michel's indecency, but I am open minded and realistic enough to differ the individual from his act as an artist. Besides, the very same people who are now badmouthing his behavior were once his diehard fans willing to pay megabucks to absorb and embrace his indecency as well as dancing to his renowned kompa more than once.
Many of us pretty much have a good grasp of morality, at least those of us who were raised inside a house by some religious parents. Nonetheless, I have seen the best of us pulling up our shirts up during carnival while winding and singing obscene songs like there is non tomorrow, but yet Sweet Micky would serve as a scape goat for what everyone else wishes to do, but never dares to accomplish. Sweet Micky was an artist who was getting paid by Haitians in order to perform what they had requested or desired from him. However, the lackof morality thereof in Sweet Micky is very much different than the one found in Michel Martelly's home with four kids and wife. Michel is able to instill the discipline and moral value in his loved ones as he has done what the majority of Haitians couldn't do. Michel does the contrary of what he preaches on stage, he has his four kids with only one woman. The world is immoral and if I were to enumerate one by one how Haiti is immorally-based one would quickly beg to differ, but I'd like for anyone to deny what follows:
1) Isn't that immoral when people pressure their maids to sleep with them or they would be fired from their duties?
2) Isn't that immoral for most haitian men to have 18 children with 15 different women?
3) Isn't that immoral for men politicien or not to beat their wives up?
4) Isn't that immoral for politicien to unlawfully put their hands in the state's fun and use the money on their own personal affairs? isn't that called being dishonest and not trust worthy?
5) Isn't that immoral forhaitian businessmen and politiciens to pressure haitian women to sleep with them in order to get the job?
6) Isn't true that Haiti has had Presidents that have done many things from this list, but yet they have governed your hypocrite self that are now talkig about immorality because of michel martelly?
So you see it goes to show that the Haitian Presidency has never held a very high standard in haitian history. We have had many unqualified presidents and liberators, starting from Dessalines to many others. Only Jean-Claude Duvalier's regime has had the best and most educated haitians and yet the country has failed to prosper and became a well-developed island simply because the administration personnel didn't have any concious or moral obligation to serve their country with honesty and pride. Instead they have done what most presidents of Haiti do best, emptying the country's cash register. There isn't small or big immoral individual, but amongst all immoral haitians and candidates to the presidential seat Michel Martelly has demonstrated through his foundation that he is the only candidate that has always been there for haitian people in time they needed a helping hand the most. Where were the other 18 candidates? Weren't they in Haiti during those critical times? While Candidate Michel Martelly is fighting and willing to change the norms that haitians have known in Haitian politics for century many others are proudly and hypocritically questionning his moral and political lack of experience as if many of his predecessors had. Jean-Claude was only 18 and was not very eloquent or a well-educated man either, but he went on leading all the so-called Haitians intellectuals for more than a decade. Now, isn't that hypocrisy at its best? When it comes to Michel Martelly to come and bring change about this system in which corruption takes precedence over morality, than Michel is not fit to be a president. Please give me a break. Perhaps some people prefer a very eloquent french speaking president who will continue the same legacy while the people continue to live in the garbage and eat dirt.

Re: Le plaidoyer le plus boiteux du monde en faveur de Lady Gaga
Can we use the word "artist" to describe Lady Gaga?
Does the reprehensible behavior of politicians justify the amoral acts of Sweet Mickey?
Is it hypocritical to dance Sweet Mickey band and to have the opinion htat he is not qualify to be president?
Should we forgo the weel educated and experience Sweet Mickey's opponent for his mere willingness to change things as usual?
