The new American Ambassador to haiti

I hope this new American Ambassador to haiti is not a friend of Michel Martelly ,but a friend of the haitian people.It is obvious that the foreign policy of the United States in haiti must changed.The most crucial problems of the country are not being solved by the NGOS.it is a shame to learn that half of the aid promised by the international community has already been used and even the main hospital in the country is still not rebuildt;people are dying with cholera, tuberculosis and malaria.

Until the U'S helps control the birth rate;stop the deforestation of the country by providing alternative energy for cooking,restore security in the country by increasing the police force.haiti will remain the poorest country of the hemisphere.It is very late ; haiti will become another Somalia in the Americas unless we help haiti control the birth rate .haiti will not be able to feed 15 millions people in the near future.No matter the amount of money the international community provides to the haitian government unless that money is directed toward improving agriculture , health care ,control if the birth rate,restoration of the infrastructures and education it will be an exercice in futility.

The United States must make it clear that it will not tolerate corrupt politicians who are siphoning the money given by the international community to help the haitian people.This must be the priority of the new Ambassador. No more immunity for corrupt politicians who are stealing from the treasury of these poor countries to hide their fortune in swiss banks or in some other countries .No matter where these politicians seek refuge they should be prosecuted and punished.It is a crime against humanity for politicians to steal from the treasury of these poor countries to buy mansions and sport cars in Europe.Too many children are dying of malnutrituon in haiti because of the corruption in government.This corruption must stop if the United States is serious about improving the lives of the haitian people.haitians are proud people ;hard workers ;they need work ;not charity.
