Kreyòl pran devan nèt sou Twitter pami lang lokal yo.
Haitian Creole is alive and well on Twitter.
It ranks #2 in this chart among "Indigenous" languages. But it may actually be #1 in light of an update from Kevin Scannell, developer of the Indigenous Tweets website: "I'm almost certain that Kreyòl would be the number one language among those listed on the site, were I to be granted unlimited access to the Twitter [Application Program Interface]" (Facebook comment, March 10, 2015).
Also see these caveats in Te Taka Keegan, Paoro Mato & Stacey Mariu Ruru 's published article: "Haitian Creole is a special case... Due to constraints that include a limitation on the number of queries per day and the large number of people in the Haitian Twitter community, Haitian Creole is the only language on the Indigenous Tweets website for which Twitter wasn't completely trawled for specific language tweets (Kevin Scannell , personal communication, 22 November 2013 ).
The numbers listed for this language should be regarded as indicative only---they are likely to be higher and should not be used in comparisons with other languages."
