Despite the Wolfowitz salary scandal, no one has asked why anyone at the World Bank, which serves the poor, should receive such a vast income.

Fortunately not everybody is stupid enough to allow these morons to steal from the poor to satisfy their ambitions of luxurious lifestiles without denouncing their mischievous conducts.

This article proves Hugo Chavez's intelligence;he is right in abandoning the world bank.Anybody with a little brain could comprehend the hypocrisy of this institution that is called" World bank"If it is indeed a world bank the salaries of its employee should be the same as the average GWI (Gross world income).I am sure the World bank can hire Indian,Japanese, Chinese,Russian economists who will work for half Mr wolfowitz's salary,and who is as competent if not more than the staff of this so called world bank.Is there less poverty in the word which would justify paying these so called bright people these fat pay checks and bonuses?Or is it the same mafia that is siphoning the profits of american corporations ,where the CEO of Home Depot is leaving the company with a 250 millions dollars bonus plus the right to buy whatever he needs in the company free for the rest of his life that is governing the world bank?

I applaud the courage of the author to show the hypocrisy of these "compassionate conservatists.".Compassionate for themeselves and their friends,indeed ;not for the world's poor.
