guess? Thursday -- tomorrow -- PM. The event scheduled with Tim Kaine
on Thursday is apparently invitation-only, and would not be all that
well suited to a VP unveil. If it's going to be Kaine, in other words,
Obama would probably need to announce today.

The
dead zone in the media cycle is Friday afternoon through Saturday
evening ... Friday mornings are relatively normal. An announcement on
Thursday evening would allow Obama to get some coverage while people
were still at their desks, while also building up anticipation toward
his Saturday event in Springfield, which sounds more designed to be a
mass media spectacle than for any kind of spontaneity.

And
Friday seems to be pretty unscheduled for both Obama and most of the
leading VP contenders, creating plenty of opportunities for a joint
appearance. For that matter, Hillary Clinton will be in Florida on
Thursday and Kathleen Sebelius in Iowa, neither of which are impossibly
far away from Virginia for some kind of PM rendezvouses.

Didn't you hear the news: the annoucement will be made Saturday in Illinois?I do not think Senator Biden will help Senator Obama.I am not saying that Biden could not be a good Vice president.In the context of this election Obama needs somebody who is admired in the South.I can not think of anybody else than Sam Nunn.To put two liberals on the ticket will be a disaster,particularly one from the Eats coast.There are other politicians in the democratic party who can help Obama win the election in November.

I do not know Kathleen Sebelius's credentials enough to endorse her for VP,however, I think a woman on the ticket could help.My first choice was Hilary Clinton ,but her indecision whether to work for Obama during the convention or to put her name in nomination troubles me.It seems to me that there will be conflict in the wite house if Hillary becomes the Vice president.We do not need that.The Speaker of the house could be a good Vice presiddent.

Yep! Hillary Clinton fait tout, mais juste pour preparer ses elections en 2012. Elle fait le double jeu,
1- Faire campagne pour Obama
2- Mener une strategie couverte a faire echouer Obama.

Moi aussi je souhaiterais que sois la VP mais pas maintenant. Sam Numm, John Kerry, Al Gore, Bayth sont mes favoris.

We shouldn't read too much in the polls. About a year ago Clinton's lead in the poll was so wide that the pundits didn't give Obama a chance. Where's Clinton today?
