Eske genyen youn lot ayisyen ki ap jwe nan NBA ya?
A swè ya mwen tap gade youn match kote mwen wè Youn jenn jwè ki rele Charlmers ki jwe nan Miami heat.Li gen lè ayisyen men mwen pa finn si ;eske genyen moun ki konnen li?Eske Magloire tou se menm Magloire laky yo?
mwen kontan lè mwen wè pitit nou yo ap fè gwo progrè nan tout domenn.Ki di youn jou tou nou pap tande youn pitit youn ayisyen vinn Presidan o Zeta Zuni.Si te ka genyen youn Dubois ki ranpli gwo wol saa mwen espere menm si mwen pap wè li ke youn jou tou ka genyen youn pitit pitit youn ayisyen ki jwe wol ke Obama ap jwi jodya.
pou Spor a li menm mwen konen anvan lontan nap genyen anpil ti ayisyen ki ap briye nan tout spor yo menm jan anpil dominiken ap briye nan Baseball isit.Eske nou panse ke Boston Celtics ap chanpyon ankor ane saa. mwen sot ap gade youn match kote yo bat Detroit tankou se ak youn ekip dezyem divisyon yo tap jwe. Sa nou panse de transfer ki fet nan ekip Detroit lan: eske yo te dwe tansfere Bilops pou Allen ?Mwen pa di A I pa youn jwè kalite non men mwen kwè li ap pran youn ti tan anvan li adapte li a jwè ekip Detroit la.jan Hamilton jwe ak Bilops nou te ka wè yè swa li pat jwe menm jan ak Iverson.

Malice,
A qui faites-vous allusion? Mario Charlmers?
D'après les informations, il est né le 19 mai 1986 à Anchorage (Alaska).
http://www.nba.com/heat/roster/HEAT_Player_2008_Mario_Chalmers-284873-36.html
D'après moi, ses parents ne sont pas d'origine haitienne non plus:
http://www2.ljworld.com/news/2005/aug/21/meet_chalmers/?sports
De toutes facons, si ce joueur veut etre haitien, il devra le faire par choix. cela signifie qu'il doit aller résider en Haiti pendant un certain temps, puis soumettre une demande de nationalité haitienne.

Financially, it's a good move for Detroit. They clear up cap space. Iverson is in a contract year, so they have no commitment beyond this year and they go rid of Billups' contract that will enable them to be a big player in the free agent market in the summer of '10. James, Wade, Bosh, and others will be free agents at that time.
On the court, I have not seen much cohesion from AI and the team in the last two games. I do not think he will mesh with them but since they have problems scoring and AI can still score in bunches, he might help them in playoff situations.
I'm a Lakers fan, so I'm pretty happy right now. But Anything short of CHAMPIONSHIP will be disappointing this year.

Rodlam,
Boston is tough. I think the Lakers will win it all this year. Bynum should give us a strong inside presence. We have a lot of depth. Even Odom is coming off the bench.
As a die-hard fan, I want revenge this year.
I hope Boston makes it far enough to give us that chance

Haitian-American Shooting Guard Quincy Douby gets ready for NBA Draft on Wednesday
Attached Images | New Jersey Nets give Quincy Douby his final pre-draft tryout TOM CANAVAN Associated Press EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. - Quincy Douby had his 16th and final NBA pre-draft workout Saturday, showing the New Jersey Nets the shooting that made the Rutgers guard the nation's sixth-leading scorer this past season. "I came a long way, a lot of ups and downs," a profusely sweating Douby said after showcasing his skills one last time prior to Wednesday's draft. "There were a whole bunch of things I had to overcome," Douby added. "It's always been; (I) have been looked down upon. I can't play in college. I can't do it in high school. I just proved everybody wrong." Douby, who left Rutgers a year early to enter the NBA Draft, is a basketball novice. His family came to the United States from Haiti and he didn't play organized ball until his junior year of high school. He then persuaded Rutgers to give him a shot in college. The wiry 6-foot-3 1/2, 170-pounder left as the Scarlet Knights' sixth-leading scorer with 1,690 points, averaging 25.4 this season to lead the Big East Conference. He had 116, 3-point field goals this past season, including nine in one game, both school records. "The 3-point line in the NBA right now is not an issue," Nets general manager Ed Stefanski said after watching Douby working out with Steve Burtt of Iona, Kevin Pittsnogle of West Virginia and Matt Haryasz of Stanford. While noting that Douby might be small for a shooting guard, Stefanski said that Douby can "flat out shoot" and that he reminds him of former Nets guard Kerry Kittles. He added his herky-jerky ballhandling manner makes him hard to cover. The past month has been a whirlwind for Douby. He has traveled a "ridiculous" amount of miles, going from one NBA city to city to another to work out. His sightseeing on those trips was reduced to viewing what he could out a limousine window. His meals have mostly been room service, followed by treadmill workouts in hotel gyms. His workouts have been grueling, with teams trying to break him down to expose weaknesses. "I'm really tired," Douby said after taking a sports drink and sitting down in a chair for a second round of interviews. "I feel relieved." While asked about being taken by the Knicks (21st pick) and the Nets (Nos. 22 and 23) on Wednesday, Douby doesn't care which team selects him. The prospect of playing with either Kobe Bryant of the Lakers or LeBron James of the Cavaliers made him smile. In fact, any NBA team could make him smile. Douby thinks he will be even better as a pro than he was in college, where he also averaged 4.3 rebounds and 3.1 assists last season. For one, he won't have to face double-and-triple team defenses. He also won't have to work as hard to score. "I didn't have anyone on my team at Rutgers that could give me the ball," Douby said. "I had to pretty much create everything on my own. I can fit with any team. I just have to keep working." Keith Glass, who represents Douby, feels that the former guard from Grady High School in Brooklyn. N.Y. will be a first-round pick. "If not, there is something wrong with a lot of people" said Glass, who obviously has a bias. "If there are 30 players better than him, this is one of the greatest drafts in NBA history." Douby said his shooting in the workouts was so good, some teams wanted him to come back a second time to prove it wasn't a fluke. He turned them down. Rutgers has not had a first-round NBA draft pick since 1983 (Roy Hinson) and has not had a player make the NBA since John Battle in 1985. "I think he's a heck of a player and certainly we were very fortunate to have him," said new Rutgers coach Fred Hill, who attended the workout. Douby has no regrets about leaving college early. "I did enough for the Rutgers program, helped them as much as I could," he said. "I just felt I was ready to begin my career." |

Quincy Douby has an Incredible Story to Tell
Last Thursday I had a chance to sit down with Quincy Douby in the Kings Player's Lounge to catch up on his off-season workouts and his goals for the upcoming season. What we discussed following those topics I think you'll find especially interesting.
As we frequently do when we talk, Q and I were sidetracked for several minutes talking about the latest shoes that had been released and the all the new colorways -- Hey, it may be summer time, but sweet hoopin sleds are still hitting the market -- It's safe to say, when two sneaker heads are put in the same room, the conversation could be endless! However, we eventually started talking about topics that YOU, the Kings fans, would want to know about!
(Interjection - if you are interested in the shoe talk, I'll have to save that for a later posting) Questions many have been pondering - Can Q play the point? What are Q's expectations for the team this year, what has he been working on this summer, has he had a chance to talk with Head Coach Reggie Theus? For those answers and more, check out the Kings.com Q and A with Quincy!
When I first met Quincy before last season began, I jokingly said that I was the only other rookie on the Kings (as Justin Williams was getting ready to dominate in the NBDL at the time) as I was in my first season as the Kings.com writer. Since then, Quincy has been more than gracious with his time, helping us improve content on Kings.com by doing his rookie blog once a week last season among an assortment of other things. Quincy is a stand-up guy and he has always been very open and considerate when dealing with the media. Through my conversations with Quincy last season and during Summer League, Quincy became more open about his tough upbringing and frequently spoke frankly about how fortunate he felt to be in the position to help his family and friends by playing the game he loves. The amazing thing about Douby's talent on the hardwood is, he's only been playing since he was a JUNIOR in HIGH SCHOOL -- He's just 23!
Catching up with Quincy, I learned a lot about what life was like for him growing up in Brooklyn, how he has now taken care of his parents (hint: they aren't living where Quincy grew up as of THIS WEEK), how proud he is of his brothers and sisters and what life was like growing up in a family where sports weren't part of daily conjecture, well, except for a few of his dad's old soccer stories while growing up in Haiti.
All the insight on Quincy I gathered from our discussion will be going up next week as a Feature Story, I know, it's a bit of a wait, but the Q & A should tide you over for a minute!
Kings.com also has a Spencer Hawes Feature coming to the Kings.com Features section this week, so stay tuned for that! As you can see from the main picture on the Kings.com Feature section for the Quincy Q & A, Quincy has already been giving Kings rookie, Spencer Hawes, a few pointers on how to survive the NBA in his first season! (That picture was taken last Thursday outside the Kings practice facility after the two had hit the gym for an early workout in the weight room and on court drills).

After getting through all the significant basketball related questions. I wanted to delve a little deeper into what the transition for Quincy has been like since he rose to stardom at Rutgers, out of Brooklyn, and then transitioned into being the Kings 19th pick in the first round last summer. When I first met Quincy before last season began, I jokingly said that I was the only other rookie on the Kings (as Justin Williams was getting ready to dominate in the NBDL at the time) as I was in my first season as the Kings.com writer. Thank you for this presentation. It is not surprising that Quincy was born in Brooklyn because it is going to be more than 40 years since a lot of haitan families have lived in this borough of New York City.
What is interesting about these young atheltes is the credit they give to their parents and the love they show to their people.May God bless them all and protect them from any trouble with the law.Keep up the good work. One day our communities troughout the country will have the credit we deserve.
