Xi Jinping Is Willing to Further Boost China-Dominica Relations


Beijing, Oct 14 (Prensa Latina) Chinese President Xi Jinping expressed his willingness to work with Dominica to further strengthen relations and cooperation, when he congratulated his Caribbean counterpart, Charles Savarin, for his reelection.

In a congratulatory message, the Chinese president noted that he highly values the development of ties between the two States, and wishes to further foster friendly collaboration for the benefit of the two peoples.

Xi referred to the good results of ties between Beijing-Roseau over the past few years, the building of political trust and close coordination on key matters in the international arena.

'Friendship between the two countries is appreciated by the two peoples,' Xi noted.

Charles Savarin, 75, was reelected as Dominica's president on October 1 for a second five-year term.
