Le role de l'Ambassadeur des Etats Unis d'Amerique en Haiti est de defendre les interets de son gouvernement. Les groupes de pressions de la societe civile et du secteur prive des Etats Unis ont des fois un impact direct sur la politique etrangere des Etats Unis. Ce sont des hommes raisonnables et intelligents. Certains d'entre eux, c'est vrai, ont des relations personnelles avec Aristide, mais cela ne les empechera pas d'ecouter d'autres versions pour la stabilite politique et le developpement economique d'Haiti. Comme nous ils connaissent les defauts mortels Aristide. La democratie americaine demande que le citoyen soit actif pour defendre ses interets. Cette democratie demande aussi l'engagement permanent meme avec ceux qui ne partagent pas vos idees. Pour influencer le Black Caucus fok ou leve pye ou Stefania. T'attaquer gratuitement a un fonctionnaire politique ou des officiels americains qui ne font que suivre les instructions recues ne contribue pas a la cause de la democratie.
