Dear Friends,

I am grateful to the Living God for allowing me to spend as much time as possible to help in turmoil Haiti. Within 8 hours, I will be traveling to Haiti and stay until May first.

This Sunday afternoon, I expect to attend a religious service at the Port-au-Prince Cathedral in honor of Pope Benedict XVI's third anniversary at the head of the militant Church.

Also, many Bishops, Priests, Nuns and Brothers expect to join in prayers the Apostolic Delegate Mario Giordana who is ending his mission in Haiti.

I'll stay in Haiti to serve in various ways my compatriots, particularly, the neediest ones.

Through a lot of pressure, our food program at St. Clare's is holding on. Too many children and adults are begging us for our delicious hot meals, Monday through Friday every week.

We are about to extend a hand to the only Public School in our area near the International Airport. The school officials receive some staple food but they are not able to get it cook. A great soul, Margaret Trost, is sending a personal gift of US$300 for cooking fuel.

That will be great relief. The students will be able to eat at their school. They won't have to leave school before dismissal hour in order to secure a hot meal at the St. Clare's church rectory in Tiplas Kazo.

It is not easy to feed thousands of near starving people. While we are providing food to the neediest ones, let's hope the generous entrepreneurs and government officials can create jobs to bring our brothers and sisters self-sufficient.

It is time you start an organisation like the Salvation Army in haiti.There are many ways one can serve the country.Please think about my suggestion.I appreciate your compassion and temerity.After what they did to you ;it takes a lot of courage on your part to still serve the poors in haiti.

Please give us an adress where people of good will can contribute to alleviate the sufferings of our brothers and sisters.we want to help ,but sometimes we're afraid that our money will enrich a few instead of helping our brothers and sisters.you show enough commitment to the haitian people;we trust you ;keep up the good work of God.May god bless and protect you.
